Kearny Booster Club
A committed group of parents and community volunteers
dedicated to enhancing and supporting the athletic program for
the students of Kearny High School.
The Booster Club volunteers provide supplemental funding to all sports programs
at Kearny High School. As you may know, Kearny High School underwent some
critical changes in the last four years. A highly dedicated group of administrators
created the “four small schools” each focusing on a different academic genre.
Through their dedication and the students hard work Kearny has been able to
raise test scores and produce excellent academia. In return it is now time for the
community to step up and assist with athletic needs.
As we celebrate our 65th anniversary we know that we have several critical impending capital projects. Working with the Athletic Director and the administration we will be working towards refurbishing the athletic facilities, lighting the baseball and football fields, funding of additional off site locations to support Junior Varsity sports
and water Sports as well as furnishing needed equipment.
The staff and volunteers are role models, mentors and friends striving to develop character, commitment and teamwork while supporting and encouraging each child as an individual. The services that the athletic programs provide are essential. It is important that our student athletes are supported with the facilities, training and
equipment that will allow them ownership, pride and the resources to compete on
an equal level with other schools.
For many years Kearny Komets were known for their highly competitive athletics. We are committed to working with the administration and staff to again develop strong competitive athletic programs for our students.
